Morphic is building tools to empower storytelling. Starting with Morphic Studio for Pro users.

Morphic Studio is an AI-powered video platform designed to create end-to-end controlled videos. Instead of prompt-to-video, they aim to provide refined control over each step, such as in-betweening in the case of animation.

Targeted users: Creators, Filmmakers, and Animators. In future: Game developers, non-creators but video enthusiasts.

Morphic provides multiple tools for different use cases. To start with, Morphic launches platform for pro/advanced creators to create very controlled animated videos.

We collaborate with both internal and external animation studios, production houses, creators, and YouTubers, offering support in content creation. By integrating advanced deep learning models into our production workflow, we enable our users to move efficiently from initial concepts to the final stages of content delivery.

Our ultimate goal is to create a Pixar-like tech-centric facility that enables producing Blockbuster content for a global audience of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement the foundation on which the platform’s core components will be built.
• Take charge of building SOTA models to optimize or automate them.
• Build machine learning models using Pytorch, specifically for generative media.
• Deploy the model on our hardware, fine-tune it if needed with unique character art, and integrate it with the rest of the platform.
• Build data curation pipelines as per the unique requirements of each model.
• Work across engineering and creative teams to identify new challenges in producing high-quality content.
• Deeply study a typical movie production pipeline and identify the interfaces, i.e., the expected quality of output and input modalities.

Requirements

• Expertise in Pytorch and, by extension, in Python.
• Solid track record of coming up with original ideas and then the ability to build production-quality models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a research team with design to production responsibilities.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Excited to join a small team that moves very quickly.
• 5+ years of experience working full-time in relevant fields.
• Bonus: Experience with diffusion models, specifically in video generation.
• You might not be a good fit if you haven’t done research that reaches end users, and writing papers and earning citations is your career priority.
